Installed .Net SDK but still getting SDK not found error

I've installed the latest V8 .Nt SDK but when I run the companian app i get the SDK not found error message. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

It’s always the same mistake… If you install SDK8 correctly, it will work.

Either you’ve downloaded the wrong version or installed it incorrectly.
